Country Sales Manager based in Bangkok, Thailand

Join a leading provider of edge computing capabilities to support and address network challenges in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) space, transforming how companies run widespread and remote operations in various industrial sectors running from oil & gas, water, utilities to mining, agriculture and government & defense.

 

The role

The Company is currently seeking a solution focused sales professional to manage and grow Thailand territory, representing the Company Industrial IoT (IIoT) products and solutions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cultivating new opportunities by providing Edge IIoT solutions to solve customer pain points
  • Positioning hardware and software technology to drive IIoT solutions opportunities among new and existing customers
  • Managing and growing a large geographic territory in Industrial and Municipal markets including Oil and Gas, Utilities, Water/Wastewater, Agriculture and Mining
  • Identifying new market opportunities and trends
  • Maintaining existing and securing new channel, OEM and end user partnerships
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners
  • Building effective customer relationships, both externally and throughout the organization
  • Serving as the voice of the company to this market, organizing and leading sales and marketing initiatives in the market, and in turn being the voice of the market to the Company

What we are looking for

  • At least 5 years demonstrated successful solutions sales experience, positioning hardware, software and industrial solution-based offerings
  • Experience selling at all levels of an organization including engineering, program management and to C-Level executives
  • Experience selling direct to large accounts, OEM customers and channel partners is preferred
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of radio frequency, edge computing equipment and software applications is preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills – business acumen with a true can-do team player attitude
  • Passion for personal accountability, achievement, learning and continual improvement
  • Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations
  • Virtual office mindset required – will likely be working from your home office
  • Fluent in English and Thai

Education :Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of related education and experience
