IoT strategic recruitment for a leading South East Asia Telecom Operator

Our client is a leading Telecom Operator in South East Asia who has been deploying an aggressive IoT strategy focusing on different verticals and building a strong ecosystem of partners. In order to meet their product launches and go to market targets, we recruited outside of the country a Head of IoT Solutions that could bring immediate expertise in speeding up & structuring the product management processes and consolidating the ecosystem of partners to efficiently address the different verticals

Kurrant adopted a head-hunting approach to source and convince the right candidate to take on the role and relocate. More specifically:

  • We identified the main telecom operators that already had a verticalized IoT strategy in place

  • We searched candidates with proven skills in the area of product management, specific verticals industry knowledge, existing portfolio of global partners and technical understanding of IoT platforms and connectivity.

  • We went through the projects the candidate had deployed in the past in order to assess their size, complexity and delivery process.

  • We did an in-depth assessment of his professional behavior and ability to work in an Asian multi-cultural environment.
  • We assisted our Client in designing the right offer within their budget constraints and convincing the candidate to take on the challenge.

  • Finally, we assisted the candidate and his family with regards to all the administrative processes involved in his relocation.

  • We are now helping the candidate in his on-boarding process, making sure he understands what is expected from him and how to navigate in his new workplace.
