Drei and Actility Enhance Austria’s IoT with LoRaWAN

Austrian telecom company Drei has partnered with Actility to operate the country’s public LoRaWAN network, which caters to over 4 million users. Using Actility’s ThingPark Wireless, a carrier-grade IoT network server and platform, Drei aims to enhance IoT connectivity across various industries. The collaboration is to promote the rapid expansion of the network nationwide to support diverse use cases ranging from smart cities and industrial applications to utility telemetry for water, gas, and electricity meters.
