IoT startup Subeca, has secured $6 million in Series A funding to expand its water technology solutions. Led by SUEZ and supported by Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund and Burnt Island Ventures, this funding should boost Subeca’s ability to deliver its advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) to small and medium-sized utilities.

Subeca’s offerings, including the Blinc IoT module, leverage Amazon’s Sidewalk network to enable efficient water management and leak detection without traditional network dependencies. This technology is particularly geared towards more than 40,000 US utilities and businesses previously unable to afford such advanced systems due to high costs and complex setups. The Blinc IoT module provides real-time data monitoring and analysis aiming to enhance decision-making for water utilities.
