Lancaster-based electric vehicle charging platform Fuuse has secured €10.1M in funding to expand its operations across the UK and Ireland. The investment, led by YFM Equity Partners along with existing investors Par Equity and an angel syndicate, will help Fuuse grow its workforce to nearly 80 by hiring 17 more staff in 2024. The company aims to enhance its customer support center to provide high-level support for charge point operators and drivers. Currently, Fuuse employs over 60 people, serves over 750 clients including major companies like British Airways and Siemens, and manages significant amounts of electricity and charging payments. The new funds will also support the expansion of their network and the development of additional products and services. Fuuse is also involved in several grant-funded projects for energy optimization through technologies like vehicle-to-grid charging.
