ZeroEyes, an AI-based gun detection video analytics platform, announced it has secured over $53M in Series B funding, led by Sorenson Capital with participation from Intel Capital, BroadLight Capital, and existing investors. The company aims to prevent gun-related violence in the U.S. by offering an end-to-end security solution that identifies guns before shots are fired and provides actionable intelligence to on-site staff and first responders.

ZeroEyes’ software currently protects thousands of buildings in 42 states, with growing demand in education, commercial, transit, and government sectors. The AI layers onto existing security cameras, and if a gun is detected, images are instantly shared with the ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC), staffed by military and law enforcement veterans, who dispatch alerts within 3 to 5 seconds.

The funding will support ZeroEyes’ growth, including investments in partnerships, research and development, business expansion, and their Gun Violence Research Center.
