Brembo Invests in Spoke Safety for V2X Technology

Brembo, an Italian manufacturer of automotive parts that most notably produces brakes and rims has invested an undisclosed amount in Spoke Safety, a US startup specializing in V2X digital communication technologies between vehicles and the road ecosystem. This partnership aims to integrate braking systems with connected elements in the environment.

Brembo emphasized the goal of enhancing braking systems to interact with the entire road ecosystem for improved driving safety and experience. The collaboration began through the Brembo Inspiration Lab in Silicon Valley, focusing on innovation in software and AI.

Founded in Denver in 2020, Spoke Safety’s V2X technology connects vehicles with other vehicles, road users, and smart city infrastructure to enhance road safety. Spoke Safety is now part of Brembo Ventures’ portfolio, which invests in tech startups to advance mobility solutions.
