The European Investment Bank (EIB) has provided a €50 million loan to Austria’s Zumtobel Group to support R&D for energy-efficient smart lighting solutions. With a total investment of €191 million over the next three years, the funding should advance the development of smart lighting systems for integration into smart buildings and cities.These projects align with EU sustainability goals by prioritizing energy efficiency and digitalization, contributing to greener urban environments.
