In the US the City of Fullerton (California), has partnered with energy service company NORESCO for an $8.4 million energy efficiency project aiming to save $12.1 million and enhance smart city capabilities. The initiative, funded by savings, will upgrade lighting and improve public safety with smart park technologies that seek to significantly reduce carbon emissions. The project will also add electric vehicle charging stations, introduce renewable energy sources, and replace outdated HVAC systems , promising environmental and economic benefits.
