Schneider Electric, a global provider of energy management and automation solutions, has partnered with The Mobility House Solutions, a specialist in smart charging technology, to support the deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The collaboration focuses on implementing dynamic energy and load management systems for high-power charging (HPC), with applications for in-depot and in-transit charging of electric trucks, buses, and passenger vehicles.

Advancing Fleet Electrification
The partnership is designed to address the growing demand for decarbonization in transportation. According to the IEA, private vehicles accounted for over 25% of global oil consumption and 10% of energy-related CO2 emissions in 2022, while trucks and buses contributed more than 35% of road transport emissions. Electrifying fleets such as municipal buses, logistics operations, and airport support vehicles is seen as a key step in reducing emissions and achieving energy efficiency.

Integrated Solutions for Charging Infrastructure
The collaboration combines Schneider Electric’s expertise in energy management with The Mobility House Solutions’ charging technologies, offering an integrated approach to deploying and managing EV infrastructure. These solutions aim to optimize energy use, reduce costs, and improve grid management while ensuring efficient and cost-effective charging for various types of vehicles.
