Stockholm’s Smart Mobility Upgrade with Populus

The Swedish capital, Stockholm, is collaborating with Populus to implement the Mobility Manager platform, to enhance the management of its electric bike, moped, carsharing, and other shared mobility services. With the project, the city is looking to optimize transportation networks, reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, and enhance life quality in the city. The platform allows Stockholm to validate operator data, monitor vehicle movements in real-time, and enforce compliance with city policies. Additionally, it provides insights for infrastructure investment decisions, like bike lane placements.
