The City of Tempe, Arizona, and the Maricopa Association of Governments has partnered with LYT and the Transpo Group, to pilot an innovative emergency vehicle pre-emption (EVP) system. This technology, aimed at enhancing the safety and efficiency of emergency responses, will be tested along South Kyrene Road and West Baseline Road. Integrating with HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud, the system should adjust traffic signals in real-time to facilitate quicker and safer passage for emergency vehicles equipped with HAAS Alert devices.
