Paris-based startup Samp, an expert in AI-generated digital twin solutions for utilities and industrial sites, has raised €6 million in a funding round led by Promus Ventures and Kvanted. Samp’s innovative “Shared Reality” platform provides real-time 3D modeling and monitoring of sensitive industrial infrastructures, helping clients like Engie, SUEZ, VEOLIA, and Teréga improve safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
Founded in 2019 by Shivani Shah and Laurent Bourgouin, Samp’s patented AI and 3D streaming technology allows for fast, constant updates of technical data and infrastructure models. This helps industrial sites address challenges such as obsolete documentation and knowledge loss, while adapting to the demands of sustainability and staff shortages.
The new funding will support Samp’s international expansion, further R&D, and an ambitious product roadmap, positioning the company as a key player in Industry 4.0. “Our platform enhances the reliability and safety of critical sites, particularly in the water and energy sectors,” said CEO Bourgouin.
