The Municipality of Alassio has finalized the purchase of public lighting systems from Enel Sole, valued at €119,581. The acquisition, approved during the municipal council meeting on March 6, includes street poles, lamps, supports, electrical panels, and connected devices.
The deal involves the remaining 50% of public lighting infrastructure in the area, totaling 2,074 light points out of 4,076. This move aims to bring the entire system under public control, ensuring more efficient management and supporting future energy efficiency and smart city initiatives.
The municipality plans to use the liberalized energy market to identify the best service provider through a public tender, marking a step toward Alassio’s goal of becoming a more sustainable and technologically advanced city.
