Esperanza Launches Citywide Smart Lighting Upgrade

The city of Esperanza has launched its “Esperanza Se Ilumina” program, investing ARS 590 million (€ 370,000) from the 2025 Minor Works Fund to upgrade public lighting. The initiative includes the installation of 1,404 LED luminaires—1,195 of 100 W and 209 of 150 W, along with 1,404 smart nodes that enable real-time monitoring of energy use and performance.

Deployment will cover key access routes on Soler and Paso Vinal streets as well as central neighborhoods, aiming to enhance road and pedestrian safety while improving energy efficiency.
