Gradis, a company within InnoEnergy’s investment portfolio, has signed an agreement to create an IT management concept for Tauron Group’s 700,000 light points. The project aims to modernize and optimize the lighting infrastructure, leveraging advanced technologies, including AI, to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

The agreement involves a comprehensive business analysis of Tauron’s existing lighting system, which includes over 700,000 light points. Gradis will use process mapping to design a new IT system architecture, integrating AI models to streamline the management of Tauron’s lighting assets. The system is expected to improve operational efficiency and significantly cut energy usage.

Gradis brings expertise in developing innovative software for street lighting systems, which has already been implemented in cities like Krakow, Wroclaw, and Tbilisi, as well as smaller municipalities across Poland. The company claims that its proprietary technology has demonstrated the ability to accelerate photometric conversions by 97% and reduce energy consumption by up to 81%.
