Hillsborough County, Florida, has selected Iteris to provide traffic management and smart mobility services under a four-year contract worth up to $10 million. The agreement includes support for the county’s Traffic Management Center (TMC) and various smart mobility initiatives.

Iteris will oversee tasks such as traffic signal optimization, incident management, transit prioritization, and emerging technology integration for connected and autonomous vehicles. The company has supported the county’s transportation systems since 2010.

Hillsborough County, home to over 1.5 million residents, is Florida’s most populous county outside the Miami area. The contract aims to enhance traffic efficiency and safety across the region.
