Eindhoven-based Tibo Energy has secured €6 million in seed funding to accelerate the rollout of its AI-powered Energy Management System (EMS) across Europe.

The round was led by KOMPAS VC, with participation from Hitachi Ventures, WEPA Ventures, SET Ventures, and Speedinvest. Founded in 2022, Tibo Energy develops software that helps industrial and commercial sites manage decentralised energy resources such as solar, batteries, and EV chargers in real time.

The system, already deployed at over 30 industrial sites, including projects with Montea and Intratuin, aims to alleviate grid congestion by optimizing energy flows without requiring grid upgrades. The new funding will support expansion into Germany and Belgium, team growth, and new product features including fleet charging and e-boiler control. Implementation partners include Unica, Hoppenbrouwers, and Stantec.
