Xylem Expands Corporate Venture Capital to $50M

Global water technology specialist Xylem is expanding its corporate venture investments to $50 million. This funding will support emerging companies and water services providers addressing critical climate challenges like water scarcity, quality, and decarbonization.

Xylem plans to accelerate water solutions by investing directly in startups with disruptive technologies and by partnering with specialty venture capital funds. These investments focus on advanced treatment, digital technology, and managing complex water systems.

This expanded venture capital framework builds on Xylem’s 2022 investments in Burnt Island Ventures and The Westly Group, and includes continuous evaluation of new investments in targeted funds and startups.
