AI Helps City of Basel Keep Streets Clean

Switzerland is known as one of the cleanest countries in the world, a reputation they earned through careful planning, strong rules, and consistent enforcement. To keep up the high level of street cleanliness, the city of Basel turned to a vision AI solution by Swiss startup Cortexia, which scans streets to detect litter and illegal waste dumping.
