Atlante, a NHOA Group subsidiary, has received approximately €70 million from the European Union and Groupe Caisse des Dépôts to establish over 1,800 rapid EV charging points across Southern Europe, including Italy and Spain, to aid in widespread electric mobility adoption and support EU’s target of cutting transport emissions by 90% by 2050. The funding comprises €49.9 million from the EU’s CEF 2 Transport and around €20 million from Groupe Caisse des Dépôts. The 24/7 accessible stations will be integrated into national grids, promoting the shift to renewable energy.
