Bryson Recycling, a social enterprise in Northern Ireland, has ordered four more robotic sorters from Recycleye Robotics. The company has already installed one Recycleye robot at its MRF in Mallusk, and the new robots will be installed on the fiber and residual lines. The robots are expected to improve material quality, maximize recycling, reduce residual waste, and reduce costs. The move by Bryson Recycling is part of a growing trend of waste management companies deploying robotic sorters. These robots use artificial intelligence to identify and sort materials, which can help to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the recycling process.
