Honeywell has acquired SparkMeter’s data platform and software technologies, adding three utility-focused solutions: Praxis, GridScan, and GridFin, to its Smart Energy portfolio. The deal, for an undisclosed amount, includes intellectual property and related assets from SparkMeter, a provider of grid management solutions.
The integration of these platforms is set to enhance Honeywell Forge Performance+ for Utilities by strengthening grid intelligence, operational visibility, financial management, and analytics capabilities.
This move follows a series of recent acquisitions by Honeywell aimed at modernizing its offerings and supporting utilities in meeting growing energy demands.
