LACROIX has finalized the sale of its City-Mobility segment to the SWARCO group. This follows the exclusive negotiations announced in December 2024, with the transaction expected to be fully effective in the first quarter of 2025.

The divested City-Mobility segment includes the Traffic and V2X business units, which accounted for €27.3 million in revenue in 2023, representing 3.6% of LACROIX’s total revenue. The segment employed 122 staff across its facilities in Carros, Ploufragan, Cesson, and Madrid.

For SWARCO this acquisition opens opportunities to strengthen its presence in France and Spain—markets where LACROIX’s City-Mobility segment holds a strong foothold. The integration of SWARCO’s advanced product portfolio with City-Mobility’s established operations is expected to generate significant synergies, leveraging complementary expertise in technology, geography, and sales channels.

For LACROIX, this divestment reflects its strategy to refocus on core businesses with strong technological synergies, particularly in industrial IoT and electronic equipment for critical applications. This decision aligns with the company’s ambition to lead in these transformative markets, allowing LACROIX to streamline its operations and invest in areas with the greatest growth potential.

The financial impact of this transaction will be reflected in LACROIX’s income from discontinued operations for 2024.
