The city of Libourne has introduced a digital solution to tackle illegal waste dumping, delivered by NGE CONNECT in partnership with Citéos and integrated into the Pulsio urban management platform.
The project equips existing video surveillance cameras with artificial intelligence technology developed by Wintics to automatically detect waste deposits and alert municipal services in real time. In addition, the system has been extended to monitor parking availability, covering 642 spaces in the city center.
Seven cameras are now connected as part of the contract running until 2034.
