Netmore Group and Stena Fastigheter‘s collaboration on implementing LoRaWAN technology across Stena’s property portfolio involves outfitting 27,000 apartments in Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg with various sensors and gateways. The setup includes Netmore’s LoRaWAN gateways and the deployment of around 42,900 sensors for temperature, humidity, and submetering applications using water meters.

The project should allow for better tracking of energy and water usage, aiming to reduce excess consumption and enhance the overall sustainability of the properties.

The integration of these technologies is anticipated to improve residents’ quality of life by maintaining optimal indoor climate conditions and providing responsive systems for environmental management. The should also opens up potential for future technological integration in areas like water leak detection, HVAC system monitoring, waste management optimization, smoke detection, and radon measurement.
