Northern Beaches Council Upgrades to LED Smart Streetlight

The Northern Beach Council in Australia’s New South Wales is collaborating with Ausgrid to install over the next 3-4 months, over 4,200 LED streetlights with smart controls on main roads in the Northern Beaches. The smart controls should improve maintenance efficiency, lower energy consumption, and potentially enable future off-peak dimming. Additionally, the lights are to support future smart city sensors for traffic, climate monitoring, and pollution detection.
