The contract, structured as a Statewide Price Agreement (SWPA), is estimated to have a total addressable market of approximately $400 million for fleet electrification and infrastructure development.

The agreement will advance New Mexico’s “Vehicles as a Service” (VaaS) program through several key initiatives:

  • Turnkey EV charging solutions
  • Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and microgrid development
  • Corridor charging stations along state highways
  • EV leasing and infrastructure financing
  • Asset transition and management

Nuvve’s selection was based on its expertise in grid modernization and scalable energy solutions. The company plans to announce its first project under the contract by the end of the second quarter of 2025. This partnership aims to support New Mexico’s sustainability objectives while enhancing grid resilience and operational efficiency.

Nuvve is currently finalizing contracts with key project partners, with further details expected to be released soon.
