Orléans Métropole is boosting its network of electric vehicle charging stations, aiming to expand to 490 points by 2025 and reach 5,330 by 2035. Following a surge in the electric car market in 2023, the metropolitan council endorsed a charging infrastructure plan focused on public access. With a total budget of €55 million by 2035, the initiative is to provide extensive, accessible charging options, supported by both public and private investments.
