Pacific Equity Partners Invests $250M in EVSE for EV Expansion

Pacific Equity Partners has invested 250 million dollars in Australian electric vehicle charging solutions provider EVSE, acquiring a majority stake. The deal, part of a strategic alliance with smart metering specialist Intellihub, which started an EV Streetside Charging project, installing chargers on streetlight posts, aims to expand EV charging in Australia and New Zealand. EVSE offers charging solutions for both residential and commercial vehicles, including hardware, software, and installation services. The partnership is to focus on smart charging and energy management, with plans to introduce vehicle-to-grid capabilities.
