In Rancho Palos Verdes, California, an advanced network of AI-powered cameras by Pano AI has been installed to enhance wildfire detection efforts. The project that costs $700,000 for the first five years of the operation is funded by a $1.5 million state allocation. It aims to spot and alert authorities about wildfires at their inception. These high-definition cameras, which scan 360 degrees and cover a 15-mile radius, are considered vital as the region enters the high-risk fire season.
