Sheffield Monitors Air Quality with VivaCity

VivaCity has teamed up with Sheffield City Council to gauge the effects of the new Clean Air Zone (CAZ). Through a network of 17 sensors, they’ll monitor traffic and air quality over three years. Sheffield’s CAZ imposes charges on high-polluting vehicles, aiming to reduce harmful emissions. This initiative is part of the UK’s bid to combat air pollution, linked to 36,000 UK deaths annually.
