Siemens Plans EV Turkey’s Charging Network Expansion

Siemens has received a significant order from Astor Enerji to supply 200 SICHARGE D EV fast chargers for deployment across Turkey. By the end of this year, 150 chargers will be operational, with the rest by February 2024. These chargers will be placed every 200 km on highways and in select malls. Siemens will also provide software for charger management and remote monitoring. The partnership aims to bolster Turkey’s EV charging infrastructure in anticipation of the country’s growing EV market.
