Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has extended its collaboration with CitySwift to continue optimizing bus operations across the Bee Network.
The AI-powered platform, used since 2024, enables real-time analysis and data-driven adjustments to improve service frequency, reliability, and speed.
According to TfGM, the platform has supported targeted changes in Bury, Rochdale, and Oldham, contributing to a 10% improvement in punctuality and a 14% rise in ridership in the first franchised areas since bus re-regulation began in September 2023. CitySwift remains a core technology partner in TfGM’s efforts to build a more efficient and passenger-focused network.
