Israeli startup Wint secured $35 million in a Series C funding for its AI-driven water leak detection technology. Co-led by Insight Partners and Inven Capital, the round also saw participation from Taronga Ventures. Wint’s smart water meter is installed in pipe systems, utilizing machine learning to monitor water usage and detect leaks or burst pipes. This device communicates via cellular with the cloud, sending real-time alerts to stakeholders via an app, and can automatically shut off water supply until repairs occur. The system offers detailed analytics to optimize water consumption and reduce costs. Notable clients include the Empire State Building and Microsoft.
