ZeroEyes, a company that analyze video footage from security camera with AI to detect guns in real time and alert authorities, has raised $23 million in funding. The round was led by Octave Ventures. The company currently has its technology deployed in thousands of buildings for hundreds of customers in 37 states. The funding round is a sign of the growing demand for AI-powered gun detection solutions that are however still not always well perceived by the public due to accuracy and privacy concerns.
