Drones help create incredible looking videos and have been key in filming iconic movie scenes like the one in Skyfall. But in the smart city and utility industry, they’re proving their work isn’t just pretty, but rather, that when it’s paired with AI, it can help cities and utilities face some of their main issues. The UK city of Coventry has seen the potential of the drone/AI power couple to boost building efficiency and has partnered up with E.on and Kestrix to test the technology.
