How Oxford Is Turning Canal Pollution Into a Smart City Opportunity

Canals in the UK are very popular for leisure and tourism and serve as permanent home to between 15 to 20,000 people. But behind the idyllic scenery of canals, pollution from boats has become a real issue. To curb nitrogen dioxide and PM2.5 pollution on canals and surrounding areas, The city of Oxford has installed electric charging bollards on their canal network.
