Abu Dhabi’s AI Transport Upgrade Set for 2027

Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has awarded a contract for its first Intelligent Transportation Central Platform (ITCP). Led by ST Engineering subsidiary, Urban Solutions, who’ll design, build, and manage the project, the platform aims to improve multimodal transport using AI for real-time traffic monitoring and predictions. Partner Injazat Data Systems will oversee IT and security infrastructure. Slated for completion in 2027, ITCP will support Abu Dhabi’s vision for a world-class sustainable transport system, aligning with its Transportation Mobility Management Strategy 2030.
