Mariehamn Energi has partnered with TH1NG to implement its IoT platform, IoT Open, as part of its digital development strategy. The three-year agreement, valued at approximately €26,500 (SEK 300,000), marks TH1NG’s first On-Prem (local installation) customer outside Sweden.

The platform will be used to monitor power substations in Åland’s archipelago via LoRaWAN technology, aiming to enable cost-effective and energy-efficient communication. The local installation will integrate various technologies and systems within Mariehamn Energi’s infrastructure to enhance operational reliability and support sustainable development.

TH1NG’s IoT Open platform facilitates data exchange, remote monitoring, and automation, serving as a central hub for digital transformation. The company provides IoT solutions across sectors such as energy, real estate, and healthcare, with a focus on enabling a smart and sustainable society.

Founded in 2018, TH1NG operates in Sweden and Germany and is listed on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market.
