The City of Roseville, California, has partnered with BetterFleet to deploy charge management technology across its transit and municipal fleets as part of its 2040 zero-emissions target.
Supported by a California Energy Commission Clean Transportation Program grant, the project adds smart scheduling, remote control, and predictive tools to optimize charging. Roseville Transit currently operates 41 buses and more than 1,000 vehicles, including electric commuter and on-demand models, powered by Roseville Electric Utility.
The city runs 14 chargers today and plans to expand to 71, aiming to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ease grid demand.
