Tipmont and Landis+Gyr to Enhance Utility Grids in the Midwest

Tipmont, the Indiana’s electric utility company, will use Landis+Gyr’s Revelo meters for grid management and member engagement. This involves installing a Gridstream RF Mesh IP network for 30,000+ advanced meters. The aim is to provide granular data for real-time load management and improved decision-making. In a separate deal, Landis+Gyr implemented advanced water metering infrastructure in Wisconsin, which will allow better water usage tracking and cost-saving alerts for customers.
