Dubai Partners with Iteris for Smart Traffic Management Solutions

Iteris, a provider of smart mobility infrastructure technology, has been chosen by Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) to implement its ClearGuide® software for monitoring roadways and intersections.

The 42-month, multimillion-dollar contract will deploy Iteris’ cloud-based solution to enhance traffic management in Dubai, one of the fastest-growing cities in the world. The company is collaborating with local transportation provider TrafQuest on the project.

ClearGuide will analyze real-time and historical traffic data to improve road safety and efficiency. The system includes features such as congestion detection, dynamic mapping, and performance tracking to optimize transportation planning.

The software is part of Iteris’ ClearMobility® Platform, which uses AI, cloud computing, and sensor technology to support safer and more sustainable mobility solutions. The project aligns with Dubai’s efforts to modernize its transportation infrastructure amid rapid urban expansion.
