Hamburg has selected Yunex Traffic, in collaboration with Hamburg Verkehrsanlagen, to manage around 2,000 traffic lights across the city through its Yutraffic Symphony platform.

The system replaces 10 legacy traffic computers with a centralized platform designed to improve traffic flow, support public transport prioritization, and enable faster routing for emergency vehicles.

Built with open interfaces, it integrates external systems including the Hamburg Police Traffic Control Centre, the State Office for Roads, Bridges and Waters, and the Hamburg Port Authority.

Yunex says the platform meets high IT security and C-ITS standards, while offering real-time monitoring, analysis, and dynamic control of traffic flows.
