Oshawa Power Adopts Trilliant for Suite Metering Program

Oshawa Power in Ontario is implementing Trilliant’s Smart Building Platform as part of its suite metering program, aimed at providing individual energy meters for each unit in multi-unit buildings. This setup allows residents and businesses to monitor and pay for only the electricity they use, rather than a shared monthly flat rate, promoting more precise control over energy consumption and costs.

With this metering program, Oshawa Power hopes to encourage greater individual accountability in energy use, supporting both conservation efforts and cost efficiency for occupants. The platform, designed and maintained by Trilliant, includes both wired and wireless options suitable for new and existing buildings. It also integrates managed data and analytics services, providing Oshawa Power with real-time insights to improve service efficiency and responsiveness.
