Danish recycling company RGS Nordic wants to take its waste management to the next level with a new ZenRobotics waste sorting plant at its Copenhagen facility. Specializing in handling a significant portion of Denmark’s construction waste, this AI-driven plant operates 24/7 and can process up to 9,200 items per hour, handling objects up to 40kg. The fully automated system is set to enhance waste segregation and improve circularity in the construction industry. ZenRobotics and Terex Recycling Systems are collaborating to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The plant, equipped with AI robots for effective waste sorting, is expected to be operational by summer 2024.
