Swiss startup Jaipur Robotics has secured €153,000 in funding from Venture Kick to scale its AI-powered automation platform for waste-to-energy (WtE) plants.

The company’s computer vision software targets costly inefficiencies in manual waste handling by enabling real-time detection of hazardous or oversized materials and optimizing waste mixing through calorific mapping.

Tailored specifically for WtE facilities, the SaaS solution aims to reduce downtime, cut operational costs, and lower emissions. With the global waste management market valued at $1.3 trillion, Jaipur Robotics plans to expand its patented technology beyond WtE plants to broader waste sector applications.
