Nanolike, a Toulouse-based company specializing in tracking fill levels of containers and silos, is welcoming cement group Holcim as a shareholder. Their partnership aims to expedite the connection of silos in Holcim’s concrete plants. After successful pilot testing in France and Greece, Holcim has taken approximately a 20% stake in Nanolike. The company’s innovative solution, SiloConnect, uses sensors to remotely monitor the supply chain, sending alerts when preset levels are reached. Successfully tested on around 200 silos in France and Greece, plans are underway for its global deployment, with more than 3,000 silos expected to be equipped within 2-3 years
