Routeware, a technology provider in the waste and recycling sector backed by K1 Investment Management, has acquired RUBICONSmartCity and RUBICONPro, platforms owned by Wastech. This acquisition aims to enhance Routeware’s ability to offer comprehensive, purpose-built solutions for waste haulers and municipalities.
The integration of RUBICONSmartCity and RUBICONPro into Routeware’s portfolio provides municipalities and local governments with advanced capabilities for waste collection operations, street sweeping, and snow removal. This addition allows Routeware to help its nearly 1,500 municipal customers reduce costs, improve service offerings, and enhance overall safety.
