GridStrong, a platform focused on automating regulatory compliance and operational reliability for electric grids, has secured $10 million in seed funding. The round was led by Congruent Ventures, with participation from Energize Capital and strategic utility investors including Engie Renewables North America.
The investment will support the deployment of GridStrong’s AI-enabled software, designed to streamline interconnection and compliance workflows for generation, transmission, and large-load operators. The company aims to reduce delays and audit risk caused by manual, spreadsheet-based, and fragmented systems.
Founded in early 2025, GridStrong already counts many of North America’s largest renewable asset owners among its customers, managing compliance across hundreds of gigawatts of power capacity.
